First Flight of Boeing 787

787 First Flight

Photo from CNN.com

Tuesday was a big day for Boeing and the entire aviation community as the 787 completed its first test flight. The photo above shows the aircraft just after it left the ground. What a beautiful aircraft! I love watching the Boeing employees cheering beside the runway after their years of hard work.

CNN.com also posted a great video of the takeoff.
