New Navigation
I geeked out on WordPress plugins and found one to upgrade the navigation. You can now mouseover the page links above to show links to any subpages I’ve created. For example, if you mouseover About Me you’ll see a link to the Professional subpage. Not all pages have subpages. Give it a try and then comment to tell me what you think or if you have any problems seeing the links. I also moved Brenden’s page under the Family page.
New Story
Instead of writing fictional short stories like I did in days past, these days I occasionally record significant moments or experiences from my personal life in story form. Last night, in anticipation of Reagan’s arrival, I wrote an account of Brenden’s labor and birth. I hope you enjoy it.
On a related note, tonight I realized that the links to much of my posted writing weren’t showing up and hadn’t been for some time. I fixed the links and tried to make them more prominent in case you want to read a bit.
Presidential Poll
I must also congratulate Gov. Sarah Palin on being the first women chosen as the Republican VP nominee. She seems tough, smart, and energetic.
OK, now that the two main presidential tickets are set, let’s take a poll! Granted, we haven’t seen any debates yet, but what’s your call based on what you know so far? Vote on the right side of the page.
Minor Site Update
In case you haven’t noticed (it’s easy to miss), some of the main pages on AndyBox.com have subpages that you could only access using the navigation bar on the right side of the page. I don’t see much traffic on those pages, which suggests that some people never knew they existed. So I added links at the top of each main page to its subpages. For example, the Family page now has a link at the top to the Wedding and Extended Family subpages. I hope that makes the site a bit easier to use.
New Poll – How Big Will Brenden Be?
My last poll, which was HIGHLY unscientific, showed that half of my readers come to AndyBox.com on a daily basis! The second most popular answer was 2-3 times/month. Since the poll was only up for a couple of weeks (I think), I don’t know how accurate these results are. But THANK YOU to all my readers, especially those who stop by often!
