We still have over 6 months to go, but we’re starting to work on Newbie’s room. Currently Reagan sleeps in there along with the guest bed, some boxes, and (until this week) the cat’s litter box and food. Turning this room into a nursery will require several steps:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Moving Jedda’s stuff into the utility room so Newbie’s closet won’t stink of cat.<\/li>\n
  2. Installing a cat door in the utility room door so the cat can reach her litter box and food but the babies cannot.<\/li>\n
  3. Organizing and rearranging the office and somehow moving the guest bed inside.<\/li>\n
  4. Finding Newbie some furniture and fun decorations. The theme will depend on Newbie’s gender. For a girl, Jenny wants to go girlie, which surprises me since Jenny isn’t a girlie girl. For a boy, I think we might do an airplane theme, for obvious reasons. <\/li>\n
  5. If Newbie is a boy, we should be in pretty good shape after that. If Newbie is a girl, we’ll need to get some girl clothes and toys. We hope to learn the gender sometime in September. Until then, we’ll have to keep guessing. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
