Extended Family

2009 Thanksgiving

My family includes my father Tom, my mother LeAnn, my sister Lisa, her husband Phillip, their daughter Reagan, my wife Jenny, and our sons Brenden and Jonathan. My parents live in Irving, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. Dad is a CPA specializing in tax. He loves fishing, traveling, camping, fighting for a variety of political causes, and electronic gadgets. Mom works part-time at his office. She loves dogs (they have 3 and babysit ours sometimes), collecting kitchen things, Dancing with the Stars, shopping, and spending time with her family.

This is my sister Lisa, her husband Phillip, and their daughter Reagan. Reagan was born September 8, 2008. Lisa and Phillip got married on May 25, 2003, right after her graduation from nursing school. They live in Grand Prairie near Joe Pool Lake. Lisa is now a labor and delivery nurse at Medical City of Arlington. She loves sushi, shopping, wine, reading, funky socks, and making people laugh. Phillip does mortgage stuff at Bank of America. Let me know if you want to get in touch with him. He is also an excellent chef, home/car audio expert, and experienced bartender.

Mom

My grandfather took this picture during the summer of 2000 in front of my old apartment in Waco. We were taking my grandparents (unbeknownst to them) to Salado to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. It was one of those weekends I’ll remember the rest of my life. In the photo from left to right are my uncle Barry, cousin Brandon, grandmother Ann, cousin Elizabeth, father Tom, sister Lisa, mother LeAnn, me, and aunt Kathy.

Cousins on Dad

FIVE cousins on my dad’s side of the family got married in 2003. At each wedding, all those who came posed together for a pic. Here are all of us at our wedding. Two of the cousin-couples have set up their own websites: Jeff and Lisa Cerney (far left) and Joe and Erin Cerney (second from left).

Jenny

Jenny’s maternal grandmother, mother Marilyn, us, father Jim, and paternal grandparents. Jenny’s mom is an expert gardener and also loves crafty things like tile and stained glass. Jenny’s dad works for Quality Doors and loves woodworking, house projects, reading, and camping.

Katy and Eric

Here is Jenny’s younger sister Katy and her husband Eric. Katy is a special education teacher in Midlothian. She loves music, movies, and Mexican food. Eric is a grad student at UNT in counseling/psychology who loves playing guitar, soccer, camping, and music. They got married June 9, 2007 and had their first son, Ethan, in September 2010.
