Giving Thanks

Last year I posted a list of things I was thankful for and asked you to do the same. You responded with some great lists. With Thanksgiving two days away and holiday activities already taking up lots of our free time, let’s pause and reflect once more on our cornucopia of blessings. Here is my list, in no particular order:

• Knowing God and being restored to Him through Jesus
• My awesome, patient, faithful, loving, and fun wife
• My amazing and delightful toddler
• My unborn son, whom we hope to meet in just two months
• My wonderful family and friends
• Having a job that I enjoy and that meets our needs
• Our health – even with our minor problems, we’re still doing pretty darn good!
• The new house that God has entrusted to us
• God’s tireless ability to give me enough challenges to help me grow without burdening me with more than we can handle together
• Little things like beautiful music, pumpkin pie, pleasant fall days like we received on Monday, football, sushi, cappuccino, and a kind word from a loved one
• The fact that Reddi-wip® only has 15 calories per serving
